Driven Racing Oil XP4 motor oil is a mineral racing oil with high zinc content, it provides reasonable protection for racers who do not want to use synthetic oil. It provides excellent protection for offroad and nitrous oxide racers who want to change oil frequently. The oil uses additives and emulsifiers to counteract wear and encapsulate dirt particles in the oil. The oil is compatible with methanol and high octane fuel. Viscosity: SAE 15W-50 0.946 l.

Racingolje eller vanlig motorolje?Racing oil is built for heat, revs and maximum wear protection — and sacrifices what a daily driver needs: long-life additives, cold-start behaviour and catalytic-converter compatibility. If you run on track, use racing oil and change it often. If you drive a daily, use ordinary oil to the manufacturer's spec. And if you have a classic engine with a flat-tappet cam, you need a third thing: street oil with high zinc (ZDDP), made for exactly that.

The Driven HR series is the perfect choice for many classic road and competition cars. The products in this series contain enough ZDDP to protect mechanical valve lifters with spring pressures up to 30% higher than standard. The oil is designed to be changed after approximately 12,500 km. The HR oils have a unique anti-corrosion package that protects engines that are started infrequently, eliminates the harmful effects of dry starts, and they also contain an ethanol-neutralizing additive to combat internal rust corrosion. If the oil is used for racing or track days: Change the oil if it starts to turn black, as this usually indicates that fuel has interacted with the oil. Racing places increased stress on the oil. Today's requirements for long service intervals and low emissions have resulted in modern oils containing large amounts of detergents to avoid coking and deposits.
