Driven HR5 - mineral oil 10W-40

Joe Gibbs Driven HR-5 (Hot Rod) provides unique benefits for the engine in your classic gem! Today's motor oils are not made to take care of engines from before 1980. This oil is the perfect choice for big block muscle cars and street rods with a supercharger. It provides very good protection against high temperatures and is well suited for large bearing clearances. Storage protection - Uses the same storage additives that the US military uses in the engines of their combat equipment during storage and shipping. This oil maintains the oil film on the cylinder walls even after months of storage. High zinc content - Higher content of zinc (ZDDP) than modern motor oils, where the zinc additives have been removed out of consideration for exhaust emission systems. This provides very good wear protection for older engines with pushrods and flat tappets. The camshaft - Provides very good protection against wear of the camshaft. Here the same additives are used as in Joe Gibbs Driven Racing Oils, which have given Joe Gibbs many NASCAR victories. Viscosity: SAE 10W-40 1 l.

Driven HR6 Full Synthetic Oil, 10W-40

The Driven HR series is the perfect choice for many classic road and competition cars. The products in this series contain enough ZDDP to protect mechanical valve lifters with spring pressures up to 30% higher than standard. The oil is designed to be changed after approximately 12,500 km. The HR oils have a unique anti-corrosion package that protects engines that are started infrequently, eliminates the harmful effects of dry starts, and they also contain an ethanol-neutralizing additive to combat internal rust corrosion. If the oil is used for racing or track days: Change the oil if it starts to turn black, as this usually indicates that fuel has interacted with the oil. Racing places increased stress on the oil. Racing places increased stress on the oil. Although Driven HR oils use a more thermally stable base oil and a top-quality multigrade additive, the oil will begin to thin out after several hours of racing. While the level of thinning is much lower than most other performance oils, it is important to keep an eye on oil pressure. We recommend using the XP series if the engine is used exclusively for racing. Make sure you have warmed up the engine so that the oil is hot before draining it. Refill with the correct viscosity recommended by your manufacturer or engine builder. The HR series are excellent storage oils, as they contain specially developed additives to protect against rust and corrosion typically caused by moisture and ethanol from fuel.
