Driven DT40 - Full Synthetic Oil 5W-40

Joe Gibbs Driven DT40 is designed for European sports car engines, such as BMW, Mercedes or water-cooled Porsche. The oil provides very robust protection against wear at high power and RPM. Aggressive cam profiles in modern sports car engines require good oils so that the choice of oil does not compromise fuel economy. With improved oil film and high thermal stability, this oil will protect the engine in the best possible way, whether it is Italian, German or English! Joe Gibbs oils are developed from motorsport, where the focus is solely on making engines last. This particular oil has been developed in collaboration with Jake Raby for long-term road use. If you are looking for an oil for lap after lap on the track, Jake recommends XP-9 for these engines. DT40 also has Driven's unique storage additives that were developed for the US military's mobility storage, which makes the oil particularly resistant to the moisture that comes from today's ethanol-blended fuels. Viscosity: SAE 5W-40 0.946 l.

Driven HR6 Full Synthetic Oil, 10W-40

The Driven HR series is the perfect choice for many classic road and competition cars. The products in this series contain enough ZDDP to protect mechanical valve lifters with spring pressures up to 30% higher than standard. The oil is designed to be changed after approximately 12,500 km. The HR oils have a unique anti-corrosion package that protects engines that are started infrequently, eliminates the harmful effects of dry starts, and they also contain an ethanol-neutralizing additive to combat internal rust corrosion. If the oil is used for racing or track days: Change the oil if it starts to turn black, as this usually indicates that fuel has interacted with the oil. Racing places increased stress on the oil. Racing places increased stress on the oil. Although Driven HR oils use a more thermally stable base oil and a top-quality multigrade additive, the oil will begin to thin out after several hours of racing. While the level of thinning is much lower than most other performance oils, it is important to keep an eye on oil pressure. We recommend using the XP series if the engine is used exclusively for racing. Make sure you have warmed up the engine so that the oil is hot before draining it. Refill with the correct viscosity recommended by your manufacturer or engine builder. The HR series are excellent storage oils, as they contain specially developed additives to protect against rust and corrosion typically caused by moisture and ethanol from fuel.
