MIRA VD-EVO Vario Drive electronic drive unit for VGX-21 and BB-86
The VD-EVO Vario Drive is a variable electronic drive unit designed to increase efficiency at the cylinder head workstation during valve seat refacing. The unit enables fatigue-free and time-saving machining of valve seats and counterbores, ensuring a smooth and even cutting motion. The system is steplessly adjustable between 50 and 200 RPM and is compatible with all hand-driven MIRA valve seat units, including the VGX-21 and BB-86. Delivery includes: VD-EVO Stand-Alone unit, VD-EVO control box, power motor with flexible drive system, adapter unit with ON/OFF handle switch, and instruction manual in English or German.

VGX-21 Valve Seat Refacing Unit
The portable VGX-21 has been developed for specialised petrol and diesel cylinder head workshops. Accurate valve seat processing is achieved by means of a spherical spindle guide bearing and a hydraulic ball clamping system. Near-pressure-free centring and braceless fixing of the MIRA rotary head enables precise and concentric valve seats to be produced. The VGX-21 package includes the refacing unit itself, a DT1 toolhead for 21–45 mm diameters, 6 FD-type pilots, 6 SK-type formtools, an AV basic cylinder head support for wall mounting, service tooling, a manual crank handle, an instruction manual with formtool catalogue, and a wooden storage box. Optional accessories include alternative toolheads (DT05, DT2, DT3, DSD), an adjusting micrometer EM25–75, the VD-97 Vario Drive electronic drive unit, and the MUV-95 Multivac vacuum test unit.

MIRA BB-86 Counterbore Unit for recutting diesel sleeve counterbores
The BB-86 is a portable and easy-to-operate tool for recutting diesel sleeve counterbores in engine blocks. To ensure a proper seal between the engine block and wet liners, the counterbore seat must be refaced during engine overhaul or in the event of leaks. The unit centres automatically on the engine block and is secured by a strong electromagnet, ensuring that the refaced counterbore seats are automatically parallel to the sealing surface. The operation can be performed on installed or removed engine blocks, as well as on built-in underfloor engines. The BB-86 is available in three sizes based on inside magnet diameter: Mini (154 mm), Standard (170 mm), and Giant (198 mm), plus an Extension variant for depths up to 200 mm. Each unit is supplied complete with a turning handle, service tooling, instruction manual, and a wooden storage box. A wide range of MIRA cutting tools (MB85–MB139) covering bore diameters from 73 mm to 220 mm are available for use with the unit.

HMX-2000 EVO – Universal Cylinder head Working Center
The HMX-2000 EVO is a complete and sturdy working center designed for professional engine rebuilders. Almost any type of cylinder head up to 120 kg in weight and 800 mm in length can be quickly secured using a universal quick-locking fixture. The machine is supplied in standard signal red (RAL 3001); other colours are available on request. Standard features include an 800 mm/300° rotating heavy-duty cylinder head support, integrated MIRA Vario-Drive electronic variable speed drive, MIRA Multivac vacuum test unit, HDT-25 steel table, and a storage table. The package includes the MIRA VGX-21 valve seat refacing unit with DR1 toolhead (21–45 mm), 6 pilots (FD-type), 6 SK-type formtools, 1 formtool setting gauge, AV rotating cylinder head fixture, and service tooling with instruction manual in English.
