Hylogrip HY5177 is a medium strength pipe sealant for metal threads. It has high viscosity suitable for bonding all threaded metal units. It is particularly useful for quick sealing of threaded joints in pipes, especially where the joint is exposed to vibrations. The properties of Hylomar 5177 correspond to Loctite 577. When fully cured, it is highly resistant to heat, corrosion, vibrations, water, gases, brake fluid, oils, hydrocarbons and many chemicals.
